Rising have defeated another three more encounters in the Dragon Soul raid: Ultraxion, Warmaster Blackhorn and Spine of Deathwing. It's only a matter of time until we deal the killing blow on Deathwing!

Rising have been off on an awesome start by killing the first four encounters in the Dragon Soul raid and thus completing the first half of the raid. Here's some pictures of our slain foes (with another one coming soon!).

Congratulations to everyone for killing Ragnaros and completing Firelands Normal mode. Thanks to everyone who has helped in some way to bringing down the Firelord. Onwards now to Heroics!

We have opened up recruitment for that final push at Ragnaros and the Heroics that lie beyond. We are pretty well set for tanks, but beyond that I feel us officers would look at applicants of any class/spec. We do have certain requirements in mind, but we'll give everyone a fair shot at impressing us!

Our guild aim is elsewhere, but for those with short attention spans Rising was set up many years ago with the simple aim of giving good players the opportunity to raid even if they could only manage one raid a week. We've stuck to that mantra throughout, and all we ask in return is commitment to Rising, be a friendly face in the guild chat, and give everything you can when raiding.

We don't use DKP, so following your trial period you'll be on exactly the same standing, loot wise, as every other member.
